QAD UltraRest: Hunter vs. LD vs. HDX

To help us out with our 2017 Flagship Hunting Bow Project, Quality Archery Designs was kind enough to send over some Ultra rests for each of our bows.

QAD actually makes four different Ultra rest options and we've got three of them – the UltraRest Hunter, UltraRest LD and UltraRest HDX. Each of these comes at a different price point and with different features.

Installation for any UltraRest is exactly the same. There are lots of videos out there showing you how it's done and QAD includes a DVD and a sheet with full instructions. Using the EZ-clamp makes things really easy and basically foolproof, but you can always forgo that and serve the d-loop material into your cable if you are so inclined. I set up all six of our test bows with QAD UltraRests in a single afternoon with no issues.
