Gallup to Grants, NM in 4k - April 2024 - Meets, Amtrak, Autorack, Grain, Intermodal. Another spectacular day out here with loads of action. I think that I caught 19 trains by 130pm and I could have gotten at least five more as there were five trains stopped at Grants, NM waiting to get by some work and for eastbounds to get through. Once the darn wind calmed down after the first two days, the fun began. I will come out to this area once again, but not for a few years as I have many other places to explore.
