Time to meet our Volunteer of the Month, Ankit Jain. Originally A avid on-field volunteer, he was one of the first ConnectFor volunteers to adapt to virtual volunteering and complete an online volunteering project through us! Ankit discovered us as he was browsing online for volunteering opportunities during COVID-19 lockdown as many of his offline volunteering projects were canceled. According to him virtual volunteering helps in self-development and gives you the challenge of being intrinsically motivated to move forward and complete your voluntary project. While working on his first virtual project he also realized how the limitations of timings and distance are diminished and one can focus better on the project while being safe in their homes. Ankit takes his inspiration from the Indian Armed Forces and believes one can be of service to in whichever way they can, for him
