This film once again showcases the incredible work of Pete Peterson who performed all of the animation in this film under the supervision of Willis O'Brien. This collaboration started on Mighty Joe Young and together the two would achieve some masterful stop motion sequences despite having hardly any budget to speak of and working mostly out of Peterson's home studio. Just as in The Giant Behemoth two years later, Peterson's and O'Brien's animated sequences brings a level of quality to each respective film that not even the horrendous editing and lack of support from the studio could overshadow.
