Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls Zambia: An UNREAL Experience

I never thought I'd be brave enough to do it but it was all thanks to the expert guides we had. Swimming in the Zambezi River to get there (for a few minutes) and seeing Victoria Falls THIS close and the brightest rainbow ever will take your breath away.

This is a **low water level season adventure* so you have to visit at the right time! I went in July. The tour companies will tell you when the pool will be open or closed.

There is a part where you ACTUALLY SWIM perpendicular in the river -- so you have to be a confident swimmer -- other parts will have a rope and rocks to step on, and you hold hands with others in your group.

Don't worry about gear: you can get water shoes for cheap (like less than $5; bring change) at the tour operator, and they give you a vest for the boat ride.

It's 100% safe, a tour that's been running + 10 years, and it's an UNFORGETTABLE experience.
