A free spirited woman named Firdous is married off in a house where even watching TV seems like a crime. Her husband Hameed is nice to her but has no guts to stand infront of his conservative father. Hameed's old friend Shahid comes back from Punjab where he was a labour contracter and has evolved a lot by travelling outside. Shahid and Firdous get close to each other and end up falling in love and living their desires together. Firdous has a different life whenever she is with Shahid, things change big time when Hameed gets to know about the fact that his wife is sleeping with his friend.

फिरदौस नाम की एक आजाद ख्याल महिला की शादी ऐसे घर में कर दी जाती है जहां टीवी देखना भी गुनाह लगता है। उसका पति हमीद उसके साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करता है लेकिन उसमें अपने रूढ़िवादी पिता के सामने खड़े होने की हिम्मत नहीं है। हमीद का पुराना दोस्त शाहिद पंजाब से वापस आता है जहां वह एक श्रमिक ठेकेदार था और बाहर यात्रा करके बहुत विकसित हुआ है। शाहिद और फिरदौस एक-दूसरे के करीब आते हैं और प्यार में पड़ जाते हैं और अपनी इच्छाओं को एक साथ जीने लगते हैं। फिरदौस जब भी शाहिद के साथ होती है तो उसकी जिंदगी अलग हो जाती है, चीजें तब बड़ी बदल जाती हैं जब हमीद को इस बात का पता चलता है कि उसकी पत्नी उसके दोस्त के साथ सो रही है।
