"Design Innovation Challenges for Samsung Electronics of Korea."
September 2013.

The fierce competition in today's high-tech consumer product market demands companies invest in new and innovative design approaches.

Samsung Electronics was not a leading technology and design company twenty years ago. Becoming a fast follower was a formidable challenge then. Today, Samsung is a leading innovator in technology and design. Some of the key success factors include plain hard working, fast learning, hunger for success, and drive for change. In the design effort, size and speed was also important.

Professor Park will discuss Samsung's design, process, and evolution over the past two decades which led to Samsung becoming one of the leading electronics company in the world.
