Subharmonicon | Using Subharmonicon with Mother-32 & DFAM

This video shows how to distribute clock sync signals to and from Subharmonicon within the Moog semi-modular ecosystem.

The patchbays on Mother-32, DFAM, and Subharmonicon allow for several ways of synchronization among the instruments using analog clock signals. Subharmonicon’s clock input, Mother-32’s tempo input, and DFAM’s adv/clock input allow all three instruments to receive sync signals while Subharmonicon’s clock output, Mother-32’s assign output, and DFAM’s trigger output allow all three instruments to send out sync signals. When using all three units in tandem, Mother-32’s buffered multiple enables users to copy a clock signal and send it to two destinations at once, which is helpful when syncing all three instruments to a single clock source. Other patch points like Subharmonicon’s Sequencer 1 and 2 clock outputs, as well as Mother-32’s gate output can also be used to sync instruments with analog clock inputs in interesting ways.
