Introduction to interactive low-resolution model building with ISOLDE

Описание к видео Introduction to interactive low-resolution model building with ISOLDE

Tristan Croll presents ISOLDE (Interactive Structure Optimisation by Local Direct Exploration), a new environment that brings together high-quality molecular visualisation, interactive molecular dynamics and real-time model validation to ease the currently highly challenging task of building and refining models into low-resolution maps. It is implemented as a plugin to UCSF ChimeraX (https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/) and is available for supported operating systems via its internal Toolshed plugin repository. At present you will need a recent Linux system with an OpenCL- or CUDA-capable GPU to run it. Mac support is coming soon, and Windows support is also in the pipeline.
