Описание к видео The future of spaceports | Ben Kaebe | TEDxKingsParkSalon

The world has more satellites to launch than it has spaceports to do it. But you can’t build a spaceport just anywhere – Ben explains what makes the perfect spaceport, and why a spaceport in Western Australia could be the home of Australia’s new goldrush: a thriving and sustainable space economy. Dr Ben Kaebe, an engineer, physicist, and data scientist, currently serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. He is actively working towards the establishment of one of the world’s first near-equatorial spaceports in Western Australia. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
