The Crazy 8’s Incident N Scale Version!

Video Info- A few months ago I did a model of the Movie "Unstoppable" and many really enjoyed seeing it, so this one was made. It focuses more on the real events that happened that day on May 15th, 2001, 20 years ago. The engineer saw a miss-alined switch and got off the engine by wasn't able to get back on, which caused the runaway. Since the dynamic brakes weren't set correctly. Many ask if PTC nowadays would have stopped this from ever happening to go 66 miles before stopping again, and It definitely would have put an end to it sooner. The engineer was fired from CSX after this event, even having a clean record before this, and working for to other companies.

Note: That all details can't be exact. I do not own a CSX SD40-2, so other engines were roll playing, such as CSX #700 as #8888 and a UP SD40-2 for the rear.
