Описание к видео Radha Meera- Odissi Kathhak duet by Nandini Ghosal and Alokeparna Guha

Radha and Meera, two women in love with lord Krishna meet across centuries. Radha, the beloved, in search of Krishna, finds him in Meera's temple. Meera pours out her devotion for Krishna describing the dark God and asking him to reside in her eyes. Radha is mesmerized by Krishna and delves into the past thinking how gazing into Krishna's eyes had tainted her dark and how Krishna had once stolen the clothes of the gopis while they wear bathing. The narration of the Vastra haran( clothes stealing) episode makes Meera realise that this woman is no other than Radha. Meera is ecstatic. Radha, however does not know Meera and soon becomes very jealous realising that Meera loves Krishna. Radha even blames Krishna for being in love with Meera. Meera brings Radha and Krishna together and gives Radha the garland she had made with her own hands asking Radha to put it around Krishna's neck . Radha understands Meera's devotion and offers her the sandalwood paste she had made for Krishna asking her to decorate him. The two women unite in the worship of Krishna.
Choreography by Alokeparna Guha and Nandini Ghosal.
