By far my most difficult hike yet, or at least this year in 2021! If you’re planning for this hike, get ready for some very difficult, extremely narrow trails scattered with boulders and gravel. There are extremely steep drops along the sides of the trail, which can seem precarious at times, but do offer beautiful views and opportunities for photographing the Ojai Valley below. The loop that I hiked today includes the Fox Canyon, Luci, and Foothill trails and is difficult, with about 850 feet of elevation gain throughout. I’d recommend this to anyone not afraid of heights and willing to take a difficult Ojai hike - but watch the video to be sure!
