In this video, I break down what it feels like to still live under the state’s thumb even after years of doing everything right. I talk about the weight of continued supervision, how corruption and bureaucracy keep people trapped long after release, and what “freedom” really means when you’re still being watched.

Also, I share one of my strangest memories from prison, the night I went to a movie theater inside the Auburn Correctional Facility, and the ensuing violence and mayhem!
