Hello, my shining star! Today, I have a lovely, knitted shawl pattern to tell you about. The fabulous, rectangular Oscillation shawl is an Intermediate level design with a stunning, all-over cable design. You're going to love making this breathtaking shawl!

In this video, I'll show you how to read the chart for this pattern, as well as how to work the two cable stitches featured in this design.

Oscillation is made with our Limited Edition Signature Fingering yarn, which is a soft and breathable blend of 30% Linen, 30% Mulberry Silk, and 40% Baby Alpaca. The linen fiber in each colorway is dyed in our signature aqua blue color, which ties all the shades together, while the other fibers are dyed in complementary colors. This collection is meant to symbolize our journey as a company. Things may shift and change, but like the linen running throughout the skeins, we strive to stay true to our values of positivity, joy, and the pursuit of constant improvement. Signature Fingering is a lovely, 3-ply yarn with a delightful drape and subtle, heathered colors and 448 yds/410 m per skein.

The sample shown here was knitted with Persistence Signature Fingering yarn. For Length 1, you’ll need approximately 1380, 1780 (2600, 3000) 3820 yds / 1262, 1628 (2377, 2743) 3493 m total. For Length 2, you’ll need approximately 1660, 2280 (3300, 3820) 4860 yds / 1518, 2085, (3018, 3493) 4444 m total. The yarn is held double throughout on all versions.
