"Today, if you walk the streets in Buenos Aires, you’re likely to see that there is a lack of diversity that doesn’t exist in its neighboring Latin American Countries. At the beginning of the 19th century, 25% of Buenos Aires’ population was Black. What happened between then and now that constructed the Buenos Aires that exists today? This Spanish language mini documentary aims to give voice to the beautiful, long-standing, and ever-growing Afro-LatinX community that is fighting for visibility in Buenos Aires."
