Good morning friends and welcome to Part 3 of my Christmas Decorating Series. As I've mentioned in past videos I am not going out and buying and new decor this year. other than a couple new garlands for the living room mantle and a few pine picks and ribbon. I want to make use of the decor pieces that I already have and make simple handmade pieces to add that warm, cozy and festive touch. One example of that is the cranberry and orange garland that I make for the dining room mantle. It is such a wonderful way to add old fashioned Christmas charm to a window, a tree or a mantle like I have done. They can honestly be hung anywhere. I truly hope that this holiday season I inspire and encourage you to work with what you have and not feel the pressure to spend money that you may or may not have on brand new decor year after year. The Christmas decor that I love the most are the family pieces that have been passed down to me and the homemade pieces that tell a story. What are your favorite pieces to decorate with Christmas?
