1 Decade on YouTube

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of this channel's creation. I produced the first video on October 16, 2014. I never expected what was to follow. The growth and popularity of this channel far exceeded what I ever imaged.

As of today, I have produced approximately 5,430 videos on this channel. Collectively, those videos have received approximately 71,084,700 views and 1,793,900 watch hours. The channel currently has approximately 55,560 subscribers.

Producing and operating this channel has been a highly positive experience for me over the last 10 years. The purpose of this channel has always been community based; to create an area where people with the same uncommon hobbies can come together to share and enjoy our interests. The channel has been very successful in accomplishing this goal, along with preserving and sharing nostalgia for the equipment of the decades past.

I have made so many friends over the course of the time I have been on this platform, an opportunity that likely never would have existed otherwise. It has also given me the opportunity to acquire so much of the equipment I have now, much of which I could previously only dream of having.

I would also like to recognize both Robbie ‪@crazyfan740‬ and Russ ‪@TheAirConditionerGuy‬ for their combined efforts to bring us all together in person every Summer. You both put in a lot of time and energy to make these events happen and it does not go unnoticed. Every one I've attended has been a great time!

The last decade has been quite a journey for me, both on this channel and in my personal life. It is very fulfilling to look back over this channel and see all the material here. I had wanted to produce a channel for several years before I actually did it. It is truly a dream come true to see what it has turned into.

I hope this channel has helped you relive the memories and enjoy the nostalgia of the past few decades. I hope the information on here taught you something or helped you solve a problem. Perhaps these videos have given you a place to belong, or just provided familiar evening entertainment. Whatever the benefit, I'm honored to have been a part of it.
