Here is my lazy, lazy way to get some fresh Bagels into the oven.

I got the kettle filled and starting to boil. I added some salt to a good thick pot, that will hold the heat.

While the water was boiling I started rolling out the first bagel. Add some of the boiling water to the pot, just enough to cover the bagel and give it space to float to the surface. In it went, while I was waiting for it to float I rolled out the second bagel. Before I knew it, my bagel was floating. I immediately removed it from the water and placed it onto a well oiled sheetpan liner. In went the second bagel and so on. I topped them with a generous sprinkle of Epicure's minced garlic from the gringer and a good sprinkle of Epicure's everything bagel.

Into the HOT (425) oven they went until golden brown. Remove from the sheetpan liner and onto Epicure's cooling rack right away, so they stay crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside.

OMGosh, I was back in the city without all the hustle and bustle.
