A woman was seriously hurt after a lion attacked her at a popular zoo in Jamaica. She suffered a severe injury to her arm during the incident. According to reports, the attack happened at the Jamaica Zoo when she got too close to the lion’s cage.

A video of the attack shows the woman reaching into the cage, possibly trying to pet or interact with the lion. Suddenly, the lion grabbed her arm and wouldn’t let go. Onlookers screamed in shock as she struggled to get free.

Eventually, she was freed and taken to the hospital. Zoo officials said she was not a trained staff member and should not have been near the animal. The zoo is now reviewing safety measures to prevent something like this from happening again.
