Last year, we had the honour of working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) to create a fully interactive, real-time 3D model of their latest PC-24 jet for the groundbreaking RFDS LifeFlight AR app.

This wasn't just a model; it was a feat of technical optimization and creative engineering. Our team, including Sam and Chad, meticulously optimised the entire aircraft to under 100k tris while maintaining incredible visual fidelity, all textured in Substance Painter.

The result? An app built in Unity that allows users to:
✅ Place a scale model of the jet on any surface.
✅ Tap to explore and expand detailed sections.

We then pushed it further, deploying the experience on Microsoft HoloLens 2, where users can use their own hands to naturally gesture and take the entire plane apart—a powerful tool for education and engagement.

We've now taken that digital asset and created this new animation to showcase the depth of detail and complexity behind this life-saving aircraft. It’s a glimpse into how we use immersive tech to tell powerful stories and demystify complex machinery.
