Q: What gauge wire did you use?
A: For a 50 amp RV, the wire is 6 gauge.
The short wire I used is 6/4 SO Cord which is 4 individual 6 gauge wires. The RV came with 6/3 Romex which is 3 individual 6 gauge wires with a solid 10 gauge ground.
