1990 Caterham Super Seven Cosworth BDR-S

This BDR has been privately owned by the current owner, who works in the professional racing industry, for 23 years. From 2004 to 2008, the engine underwent extensive upgrades, including Toda Racing 83.5 mm high compression pistons, custom Carrillo connecting rods, and a 304 camshaft. 

The owner also designed a lightweight flywheel for the engine. The resulting 1760cc engine with a compression ratio of 12.0 requires a Freedom ECU managed ignition system and a Weber 48mm carburetor, producing an impressive 220 horsepower. This is a truly special Super Seven, elevated to a whole new level.
