Nice Tramway T1

The tramway in Nice (France) opened in 2007 and currently consists of two lines with a total length of 16.2 km. In the next years, the network will be extensively expanded throughout the entire metropolitan region.

The line T1 was opened in several stages between 2007 and 2013 and has a length of 9.2 kilometers. The route of Henri Sappia in the district of Ray at the Pasteur Hospital in the Pasteur district stretches like a big V through the central districts of Nice. The journey takes 36 minutes with stops at 22 stations.
The vehicles used are 33m long Citadis 302 and 44m long Citadis 402, built by Alstom.
A special feature is the crossing of the places Masséna and Garibaldi, the trams lower their pantographs and cross the places in battery mode without catenary.

The line T2 (not shown in this video) opened in June 2018 between Cadam and Magnan in the west of Nice. From December 2018, this line will be extended to the airport and into the city center (underground).

Le tramway de Nice est un réseau de tramway inauguré en 2007. Il est actuellement composé de deux lignes avec un longueur total de16.2km. Le réseau est encore en expansion, dans les prochaines années il est prévu que le reseau va être composé de quatre lignes dans toute la région métropolitaine.

La ligne T1 été ouvert entre 2007 et 2013 et a une longueur de 9,2 kilomètres. Le route de Henri Sappia dans le quartier du Ray à l'Hôpital Pasteur dans le quartier de Pasteur forme d'un grand V pour traverser les quartiers centraux de Nice. Il y a 22 stations, le trajet prend 36 min.
Le matériel roulant est constitué des rames Alstom Citadis 302 (33m, 5 élements) et 402 (44m, 7 élements).
Les trams baissent leur pantographe à la dernière station avant traverser la Place Masséna et La place Garibaldi en mode batterie, où il n'y a pas de de lignes aériennes.


La ligne T2 (pas dans cette vidéo) a été mise en service en juin 2018 entre Cadam et Magnan à l'ouest de Nice. À partir de décembre 2018, cette ligne sera ouvert à l'aéroport et au centre-ville (souterrain).

Die Straßenbahn in Nizza wurde 2007 eröffnet und besteht derzeit aus zwei Linien mit einer Gesamtlänge von 16,2 km. In den kommenden Jahren stehen größere Erweiterungen des Streckennetzes in der gesamten Metropolregion an.

Die Linie T1 wurde in mehreren Abschnitten zwischen 2007 und 2013 eröffnet und hat eine Länge von 9,2 Kilometern. Die Strecke von Henri Sappia im Bezirk Ray am Pasteur Hospital im Bezirk Pasteur zieht sich wie ein großes V durch die Stadt. Während der 36 minütigen Fahrt wird an 22 Stationen gehalten.
Das eingesetzten Fahrzeuge entstammen der zweiten Generation der Alstom Citadis Familie: 33m lange Citadis 302 und 44m lange Citadis 402.
Eine Besonderheit stellt die Überquerung der Plätze Masséna und Garibaldi dar, hier fährt die Straßenbahn ihren Stromabnehmer herunter und überquert die oberleitungslosen Plätze im Batteriebetrieb.

Die Linie T2 (nicht in diesem Video gezeigt) wurde im Juni 2018 zwischen Cadam und Magnan westlich von Nizza in Betrieb genommen. Ab Dezember 2018 soll diese Linie zum Flughafen und in in die Innenstadt (unterirdisch) erweitert werden.
