An older video of mine from 2023 which I figured I might as well post since I've mostly been posting footage from more recent times, heading back to my good ol' Leopard Trail to meet the Sunda Slow Loris.

The many subspecies of Slow Loris, including this one, are not only one of the few mammals that are venomous, but are also the most venomous mammals of all time. This bite is usually used for hunting or defence and has varying uses when humans are bitten, whether resulting in a really painful effect all the way up to death.

Despite this however, Slow Lorises are surprisingly popular in the illegal wildlife pet trade due to their teeth being forcefully extracted to remove the venom. This is sadly one of their biggest threats aside from habitat loss.

Come down to the Leopard Trail or a lucky chance with the 8.45pm Keeper Talk at the Explorer's Outpost at the Fishing Cat Trail to have a look at this lovely Nocturnal Primate.
