Hello, In this video, I demo a Powershell script that I created that creates an Index of my external hard drives. It simply uses get-childitem and recurses through the filesystem to pull the file properties that I desire. I use some techniques that I demo, such as creating a Class Object, using a ScriptBlock, Batching processes to limit memory usage, while also maintaining some desirable speed, creating a Tag file to append Meta Data about the index, using Start-Transcript to log each run, and more.
