Basic communication interfaces (Asynchronous serial Transmission, Synchronous Transmission)
Introduction to control system protocols
Comparison between different protocols (IEC 101, DNP3, OPC…)
02- Basics of data Networks:
Network Protocols and OSI Model
Network Based Protocols (TCP/IP, IEC 104, Modbus over TCP...)
03- IEC 61850 Standard principles:
Data Modelling, Virtualization, logical nodes and data object structure
SCL basics and IED Configuration Files (SCD, ICD, CID files)
IEC 61850 protocols (MMS, GOOSE, SV)
04- Practical IEC 61850 sessions:
Simulating typical IEDs communications (IED to IED and IED to SCADA HMI Communications)
Setting GOOSE Control Blocks and Launching real GOOSE streams
Setting MMS Report Control Blocks and launching real reports from IEDs to IEC 61850 SCADA HMI terminal
Implementing simple SAS functions with simulation tools
