Doing Kedarkantha Trek (in December or January) can be a thrilling experience. I did my Kedarkantha summit with Raftaar Adventure. Kedarkantha is a mountain peak located in Garhwal Uttarakhand. It is a part of the Garhwal Uttarakhand. Kedarkantha trek starts from a village called Sankri. The trail goes through Govind National Park. There are many small & beautiful stops on the route. To reach Sankri first you have to reach Dehradoon. Sankri is about 200kms from Dehradoon.

The best time for Kedarkantha trek is Dec to March. This trek can be an unique experience of adventure & spirituality. The trek is as beautiful as the Kedarkantha peak. On the trek you passes through many beautiful places. After leaving Sankri you first reach a dhaba known as Chacha ka dhaba. After this you reach Bansuri wale baba ka dhaba. Your main stop is called Juda ka Talab. Your first night stay remains at Juda ka Talab. This trek is of moderate difficulty, suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness.
