Описание к видео Drilling annual crops into native perennial grasses on 1000+ Acres - Natural Intelligence Farming

Ian and Di Haggerty are farmers from the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia who together with Jane Slattery, have partnered with Nature to co-develop "Natural intelligence Farming."

"Natural intelligence Farming" is Integrating nature’s intuitive wisdom and biodiversity into food, fibre & beverage production.

Join Di as she takes us through a recent experiment direct drilling annual crops (Halberd wheat) into native perennial grasses. They are also using a Johnson Su style composting system utilising all on farm inputs which they are using to treat the seed as an inoculant. They also use this highly fungal compost as a compost extract, which they put down with the seed (down the tube) at sowing.

Di an Ian are receiving global attention as Regenerative agriculture pioneers proving that broad acre cropping and environmental regeneration are not mutually exclusive. Their work in the arid lands Wheatbelt of Australia is providing hope for farmers in brittle landscapes all around the world.
