Key Suspect In Sambalpur Gold Heist Arrested; Police Release Images of Two More

A key suspect in the recent Manappuram Gold Loan branch robbery in Sambalpur has been apprehended. Ashok Paswan, who was on the run, was caught by RPF (Railway Protection Force) police on a train. Following his arrest, RPF authorities informed the Sambalpur police. This arrest comes after a brazen armed robbery on July 3rd at a Manappuram branch in the Budharaja area of Sambalpur, where approximately 29 kg of gold and ₹4 lakh in cash were stolen at gunpoint. Sambalpur police have also released photos of two more suspects involved in the robbery and have announced a reward of ₹1 lakh for information leading to their capture. While police had previously detained some individuals for questioning, this arrest is a significant development in the case. Ashok Paswan is currently being transported to Sambalpur.
