Degas Tower - Water Treatment

Degas Towers are tailor made solutions for high density land based aquaculture tanks to extract excessive CO2 from the water. MAT DGT units provide an efficient means of carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) gas removal, maintaining the suitable conditions of treated water to fish livestock. The Unit offers three operation options:
» Static flow trough
» Two-phase atmospheric cross flow
» Two-phase cross flow with vacuum MAT Vacuum Degasser

The Degas Tower DGT-100 is capable to process 100 cubic meter of water. Our standard series of degassing towers can process up to 1200 cubic meters water per hour with non-clogging type media in 100 square meter surface area. Units can be atmospheric or up to -150mbar vacuum type, both driven with a low energy consumption fan. Atmospheric cross flow process can be Up to 8 to 1 air Air - water ratio. Optional components are oxygen and ozone injection, cleaning system with a backwash pump, manhole and clear observation window, level indicator tube, and service covers, working ladder and working platform. The device is SCADA compatible and the PLC smart control system allows for fully autonomous operation for backwash sequences, oxygen infusion amount, vacuum range, and VFD-driven optimum fan speed for on-demand energy consumption.
