Remember Des Moines is NOT Boring? Yep, I’m Pete Jones, the guy who started that blog way back in 2008. We spent over seven amazing years showcasing everything that made our city incredible—events, restaurants, shopping, and more. At its peak, the blog had 20 authors, 20k+ monthly readers, and even got a shoutout from the Des Moines Register!

After taking a break to focus on family (my wife and I have been raising three awesome kids), I’m back to prove once again that Des Moines is NOT boring. 🎉
