Rifle Basix Trigger for Savage MK II FV SR .22LR

Installation and testing of the Rifle Basix Rimfire Trigger (SAV-RAT) for Savage MK-II rifles. Group sizes tested before and after trigger installation with SK Rifle Match .22LR ammo.

I like the Accutrigger on my centerfire rifles, but for some reason it just isn't as light or crisp on my MK II. The factory setting for the Accutrigger was 2 lbs. 10 oz. I wanted something a little lighter to wring a little more precision out of the gun.

I deliberately chose SK Rifle Match for the test because it is NOT the best shooting ammo in this gun. It is probably middle-of-the-pack in terms of accuracy (at least in my gun). I wanted something with "average" accuracy in order to get a better test sample comparing before and after.

Installation was simple and quick, the trigger feels really great at 18 oz., and the groups tightened by an average of 9%. All in all, well worth the upgrade.
