🎬 ON TODAY'S MANUAL: So you're into these cool Shoegaze, Grunge and Alternative Rock bands? Starting to play the guitar and wanting to sound like them? I'll be very happy if I'm the very first to talk to you about Big Muffs (: These very sweet slices of a tremendous fuzz pie first distributed by Electro-Harmonix are iconic peaces of gear that marked rock as we know of today! So if you're looking to start to sound a little bit more like the bands you're listening to, getting yourself a big muff style of pedal is probably a great starting point. These fuzzes have all been used by many many artists over the year, and today I'll introduce you to how it sounds, ideas on how it can be approached to create Shoegaze or indie rock music, and its overall characteristics, as well as some famous artists that have used them: like Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr. and My Bloody Valentine for example (: and there are so many modern bands that use these as well, such as Ringo Deathstar, and Brazilian shoegaze band Loomer for example. Hope you like this little introduction to one of my all time favourite style of fuzz pedals! :D
