February 8, 2023 This Dash – Camera video is © free and provided by the Connecticut State Police of a classic example why everyone must slow down and be extra vigilant near emergency incidents.
Cromwell Connecticut Department along with the CT State Police were operating at a previous accident site when this second crash occurred.

In this second accident the driver of a 2014 Honda Accord can be scene spinning out of control as it slid across the roadway striking first responders on route 9 near interstate 91 in Connecticut.

Both First Responders were struck by the vehicle sending them to the hospital.
The Cromwell Firefighter Jon Bicking sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Trooper William Atkins, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries as well.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and has been by CSP.
