Is the Sigma 18-35 Still AMAZING in 2021? Why I Bought A DZO 20-55mm Pictor Zoom

Mixed feelings today talking about the Sigma 18-35mm as I buy an upgrade in the DZO Pictor Zoom 20-55mm. The sigma 18-35mm has served me incredibly well over the last 3 years and my time with it is far from over.

Today I'm talking about how this lens is still PHENOMENAL for some and maybe not perfect for others in 2021. It is a legendary lens of it's an era, but as higher resolution cameras become more market accessible and full-frame cinema bodies become more consumer-friendly the sigma 18-35 could become outdated quickly. But for those of us still on 4/3 or Super 35mm, the sigma will serve just fine.
