You do not need a DRB
Do not need a replacement wireless control module or new sentry setup or new keys.

I found this fix after days of research on my dead truck.
How I got here? Bought a used 2006 Ram 3500 Diesel a month ago (only one dodge key, fob not working); 2 days later I got stuck @ my job parking lot due to an alarm going off. I realized, the truck had an aftermarket alarm active and installed with no FOBS. Last week, parked in my driveway and started to uninstall that cheap shit alarm. Removed all wiring and BAM, instant Factory-Sentry Based alarm activates with ecu/ignition kill and my truck was stuck for a few days.
Over the course of 4 days, I stripped off the door panel and steering panels to check all wiring and remove all aftermarket $h|t wiring.
Plus researching like hell, how to dis-arm the factory alarm.

ISSUE = red light on gauge cluster was flashing because the truck was stuck in ALARM MODE or theft mode active. the truck started twice, and within 3 seconds of running shut off with a blinking red light/alarm light. Then, it refused to start and the immobilizer was stuck in active.

HOW I GOT THE FIX? - 4 days of searching the web, I tried a ton of ram 3500 posts and nothing worked, everyone said, tow to dealer, new SENTRY SETUP/WIRELESS CONTROL MOD AND NEW KEYS. After reading JEEP, CHRYSLER AND RAM FORUMS, I experimented with a combination of tactics used from All and it works!
Jeep taught me about the unlock of the Sentry Setup.
Chrysler taught me about the seat belt trick.
Ram taught me the rest.

FIX to Disarm the Sentry/WCM/Theft/Blinking red light/truck not starting. NOTE, must be performed within a 15 second countdown. if you take longer than 15 seconds, start over. the 2006 Ram 3500 has a 15 second window.

KEY, I only have one key, FOB not working, driver door lock arm/disarm not working.
Disconnect batteries and leave disco over night.
Get your FOB working, I read on Dodge site and Dodge manual, the 2006 RAM 3500 can only disarm from the fob; NOT the door lock. I dismantled my FOB, attached 2 3volt batteries and energize the fob. Then, removed and reassemble the FOB with one new battery.
Reattached the batteries in the engine bay.
Find FUSE #11 in the engine bay, its the IOD fuse. remove it, 2 mins, reinstall.
Now within 15 Seconds.
Hit the lock button on your FOB.
Hit the UNLOCK button on your fob.
OPEN the door.
Instantly, attach the SEAT-BELT (YES, the truck alarm is wired tot he seat-belt; SCREWED UP HUH?)
Jump in the truck and closed the door
Insert key in the ignition
turn to ON/run position
when you see the red light initially LIGHT UP, turn key and start the truck!
BAM, fixed. let the truck run for 15 minutes. 15 SECONDS Actions are complete.
Sit there and play a game on your phone.
Turn off the truck,
Open door,
Jump out,
unplug/remove seat belt,
close the truck and you are good to go.

IF the truck does not start and you have a blinking red light (security active).
You need to reset the WCM/Sentry system.
To reset:
Attached a battery charger/tender to the truck.
unlock the truck with the FOB
insert the key
Turn to RUN (the position where all electronics are powered up, all lights and engine light is powered up, that key position right before you turn it to start the car/truck).
leave it for an hour and leave the door open.
--- By having the key sit in the ignition and the fob within an inch of the Sentry, the WCM/LOCKED UP wireless box will UNLOCK on its own. You will not need a new box or new keys etc.
come back an hour later, turn everything off, get out of the truck, shut the door
remove battery tender, close the hood and try all the instructions I mentioned above again.

After 4 days of my truck sitting dead in my driveway, through hours of myself researching and trying everything, this worked for me.
