With our new IPG Photonics LightWeld XR laser welder we test .063 thick 3003-H14 sheet with .047 4043 wire in this system. A little play time to adjust some preset programs and we're ready to weld some butt joints.
I truly believe this will change the way many industries will fabricate the world. We will be welding a lot of aluminum on Coupe Simone and this is going to save us a lot of time not only welding, but also metal finishing because of minumum panel distortion since the heat effected zone is 85% less that with tig or mig welding.. Read that again!
This model also has cleaning modes... YES!
