Being Sectioned to a Mental Health Hospital still carries Some of that ‘Old’ Stigma.. ‘Men in White Coats’ and ‘Straight Jackets’ couldn’t be further from the truth. For me this part was the beginning and quite possibly the most important,positive step on my journey to Wellbeing. Admission to The Cavell Mental Health Hospital enabled me to be diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). For me this made a huge difference as it finally gave a label and now an understanding of what had been different about me from a young age...

I embraced my time here and feel lucky to have had that resource available to me......

Mental Health is still a thing that remains difficult for us to be able to open up and talk about..I was that person. I struggled alone through near death, through Mental Health Hospitals. I walked this journey alone and quietly and i managed to find a way through. Being Sectioned to a Mental Health Hospital is one of many Vlogs that are aimed at helping others and to enspire as many people as possible who suffer mental health, to a place of well being. I will share with you my honest accounts of the experiences both good and bad that proved successful in my journey to that better place. i have managed to totally change my life after losing absolutely everything and becoming homeless and i will share all of this with you in a most honest way in the hope i can inspire and provide support for those who want to get to that place of wellbeing.
