The NordicTrack x11i is one of our favorite treadmills in the $2000-$2500 price range. It’s a sturdy treadmill with a strong solid frame. The x11i supports up to 300 pounds and runs with a 4.25 CHP motor, which is huge. It comes with a lifetime warranty for the frame, deck, and motor, a 5-year warranty for parts, and a 2-year warranty for labor. This is a treadmill that is great for a wide range of users, especially runners who train for tough terrain, steep inclines, and more.
With the large powerful motor, it’s still a relatively quiet treadmill with limited noise output. However, this treadmill does NOT fold. It is very heavy, difficult to transport, and will likely require a permanent location in your home.
There are 2 adjustable fans on this treadmill with 5 settings. It comes with the standard safety key, 2 storage cubbies, 2 forms of heart rate monitoring (free Bluetooth chest strap), quick access incline/speed controls, audio input/output plug, loud speakers, and a USB port.
The touchscreen console is a 10” HD display. The user interface for the display screen is very simple to learn. With iFit, this treadmill comes with over 60 workout routines made specifically for the treadmill. You have access to personal trainers who have put together motivating and engaging routines. iFit is a required feature for using this treadmill. With the subscription, you have access to endless workouts, personal trainers, data tracking, meal planning, and more. You can by-pass the iFit screen with a little hacking but then you rid yourself of the data tracking and pre-programmed exercise routines. Without the use of the iFit workouts, there are 44 standard programs on the x11i (Heart Rate routines, Calorie Burn, High Intensity, Speed training, Incline training, and the manual setting). Your workouts track a large set of data: lap number/lap progress on a 400 meter track, time elapsed, current heart rate, distance run, current pace, average speed, time remaining, average heart rate, calories burned, estimated calories burned per hour, miles remaining, verticle feet gained, and overall distance run. You can also view graphs charting your data. The summary screen shows you your total workout time, total distance, average pace, total calories burned, total elevation gain, and average heart rate. There will also be a graph charting your heart rate throughout your run to see your progress.
