Released exclusively in Japan in 1989, Curse is one of the earliest horizontal shoot-’em-ups on the Sega Genesis. While it never got an official Western release, it remains a curious entry in the Genesis library — one that mixes competent sci-fi blasting with early-gen limitations, earning it a cult following among fans of obscure shooters.

You pilot the "Buster Grappler" fighter, humanity’s last hope against the invading alien forces from the planet Parceria. It’s a classic side-scrolling shmup setup — take your ship through increasingly difficult stages, dodge enemy fire, and gather power-ups to unleash destruction.
