Discover Troyes | Discover France

Troyes is a town in the Grand Est region of northeastern France. Its medieval old town features narrow, cobbled streets lined with colorful, half-timbered houses, mostly dating from the 16th century.
The town is home to several Gothic churches with striking stained-glass windows. These include the Troyes Cathedral, the Église Sainte-Madeleine and the Basilique Saint-Urbain.
Stroll between the traditional, magnificent half-timbered buildings whose walls come in a beautiful palette of red, yellow, white... Between these charming dwellings are secret passages and narrow cobbled streets, like the famous Ruelle des Chats, offering delightful urban walks.
Don’t miss a photo opportunity with the nearby statue of ‘Lili, la dame au chapeau’, this sculpture was created by a Hungarian artist, Andras Lapis, whose favourite theme seems to be the ladies in hats.
Enjoy a hearty meal at one of the restaurants along the Ruelle des Chats (try Les Tables des Peintres).
Pick up a few macarons and chocolates while buying our cheese and you will find that the desserts are divine!

Each year, the Champagne winegrowers open the doors of their domain during the harvest and initiate you to the harvest of the grapes.
