Installing and uninstalling Homebrew is straightforward as long as you understand the Mac Terminal. In this Tutorial, I will show you how to uninstall Homebrew in case you got problems or errors with current installation, and then install it again as a fresh package without warnings nor errors.

What is it anyway ? Homebrew is the most popular package management tool for macOS systems. Using the brew command line utility you can easily add new packages on your mac.

Simple brew commands:
$ brew --version # Check what version is installed.
$ brew doctor # show instructions for correcting issues.

$ brew help # Print Help Information.
$ brew update # Fetch latest version of homebrew and formula
$ brew outdated # Show formulae with an updated version available
$ brew upgrade # Upgrade all outdated and unpinned brews

Following process guides through each step.

1. Prerequisites
• You should have some familiarity with the Mac Terminal application since you’ll need to use it to install Homebrew. The Terminal application is located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
• Dependencies. You need to install one other piece of software before you can install Homebew:
o Xcode. Install Apple’s Xcode development software: Xcode in the Apple App Store. - https://developer.apple.com/xcode/

2. Installation Steps
• Open the Terminal app.
• Type (copy/paste) 👉 /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Hom...)"

3. How to Uninstall Homebrew
• Open the Terminal app
• Type (copy/paste) 👉 /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Hom...)"
• This downloads and runs the uninstaller script. Follow the instructions and Homebrew will be removed from your computer.

4. How to Update Homebrew
New versions of Homebrew come out frequently, so make sure you update it before updating any of the other software components that you’ve installed using Homebrew. * In Terminal type brew update
