The kit also includes 5 dental picks, with the same tip, but different options for shaft sizes as well. The 5 round curettes and 5 chisels, within the kit, come with the same head but different shaft sizes, 3.5 , 3, 2.5,2 and 1.5 inches. Along with these five different instruments, the kit also includes 4 different types of elevator handles, 1 straight, 1 7* degree angle, 1 15* degree angle, and 1 fiber handle. Some of the many advantages of the equine kit include a non-slip handle and Luxating elevators with micro serrations to help cut ligament faster, cleaner, and more efficient. The two key screws on the handle allow for the instrument to be stronger and sturdier than other horse instruments. The 360-degree rotation creates more flexibility, allowing the practitioner to perform hard to reach tasks within the horse's mouth.
