Dear friend,

This week has brought about so many wonderful realizations. I have gotten the chance to spend unbroken time with my music. It reacquainted me with the joy of truly dedicating yourself to a project. In the world of creative work, I have been often pulled in many directions at once. Being an incredibly scattered person-- I often find this spread of passions and responsibilities difficult to balance. Learning to do just that has marked my progression into adulthood, both as a creative and in general. That being said, it is currently midnight as I type to you 😂

This video is simple. Many of the things that I most treasure are simple. Everything you have given me has been the simple gesture of a friend. I'm lucky to do the same in return. In fact, that's what keeps me exploring this quickly changing world.

As a bit of context, a friend gave me the typewriter shown in this video. It's space bar wasn't working, but that proved to be an easy fix and (despite putting a new ribbon on backwards) it has quickly become a source of inspiration and excitement! I'll be bringing it around the valley (it's portable!) to record the explosion of Spring ❤️
