Ramsar Ivory Museum is the first museum related to the art done on ivory, which has been collected from all over Iran and even different parts of the world.
This museum in Iran and even the Middle East is a unique example that visiting this museum can be a unique experience for Iranian and foreign tourists.
Ramsar Ivory Museum is located in the historical-cultural complex of Ramsar Martyrs, being adjacent to the Marble Palace and having a green area and garden is considered as one of the best tourist destinations.
According to evidence, the Ramsar Ivory Museum is nearly 90 years old.
The construction of this palace started in 1312 and was completed in 1316. This palace in the time of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was only for entertainment.
After the revolution, until 1379, when the use of this palace was changed and turned into a museum palace, it was closed, and in 2016, Taj al-Muluk Palace in the Ramsar Palace and Garden complex was allocated to the Ivory Museum.
In terms of architecture, this palace is a two-story building and its foundation is 578 meters.
Nearly 300 beautiful works of art made on ivory are kept in the Ramsar Ivory Museum and it seems that the value of these precious works of art is about 300 billion tomans.
