How to use the HORL®2 sharpener

In this video, we explain in detail how to use the HORL sharpener and how you can sharpen knives of different sizes with it. First, attach the knife at the magnetic angle support at the desired angle. To do this, one hand holds the magnetic angle support in a relaxed position. With the other hand, the knife is then attached to the S-pad by moving it towards the magnetic angle support. Then the diamond grinding disc is moved back and forth along the knife edge without applying much pressure. In the next step, the knife is levered off to the side and fixed from the other side so that the diamond grinding disc can also move back and forth here.
Report the steps again in combination with the ceramic honing disc, which further refines the result of the diamond grinding disc.

If you want to sharpen small knives, you can simply fix them to the S-pad at the desired height on the magnetic angle support. If the cutting edge of a large knife extends beyond the diamond grinding disc due to its size, you can increase the rolling path of the HORL with a cutting board, for example. After using the sharpener, we recommend that you clean the ground knife thoroughly for final sharpness.
