The collapse of the 35-foot Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Sindhudurg has led to protests in Mumbai. The Mahavikasagari alliance demanded Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's resignation, while the BJP accused the protests of being politically motivated.
