70 years ago, a land was created which no one thought would be able to survive. Yet it did. And oh, how beautifully did it do so. Here's to the Quaid and the founding fathers of the country, to the millions of resilient Pakistanis who come out of their homes everyday and make the country great, here's to the judiciary of Pakistan for letting the truth surpass power, here's to the children, the women, the youth, and even the elderly, who make Pakistan what it is, here's to the boys in green, who made the country proud, here's to Abdul Sattar Edhi, to Sister Ruth Pfau, to Bilqis Edhi, and to the many more Pakistanis who have put the name of the country on the map with their efforts, to the soldiers who fight on enemy lines and sacrifice their lives for the country, and to each and every Pakistani, who, despite its shortcomings and its deficiencies, continue to love the country and help take it to greater heights with every passing year.
