Highest Intention is a vintage Roots Reggae Revival band from California. Their sound is locally grounded and globally appealing and they have established themselves as a local favorite, conveying a message of love and unity with a clean and fundamentally modern Roots Reggae sound.

The Band consists of founding member Ben Lowe, lead vocalist and guitarist, Bassist Toho Saunders, Drummer John Raka, Keyboardist Chris Simpko.

Highest Intention combines unique and thoughtful songwriting with heavy one drop beats, deep intoxicating bass lines, and vintage dub style effects. The track, Morning Light, features Karim Israel, lead singer of Arise Roots, along with Paul Wolstencroft of Slightly Stoopid on keys.

Their highly anticipated album Universal Light honors the tradition of Jamaican Roots music while forging its own brand of progressive Reggae for the new millennium.

Highest Intention is booking 2023 in support of the new release.
